The P-Response™ system is the world’s first and only NDT technique for the evaluation of industrial refractory lined vessels. P-Response™ was specifically developed to meet industry demand for enhanced assessment of all types of refractory linings.

  • Testing can be done from the outside of the vessel (or inside)
  • Testing can be done on hot surfaces (max 400oC) where permissible
  • Testing can be done on vertical and horizontal surfaces
  • Evaluate the integrity of refractory linings before vessel entry (eg the likelihood of a loose hotface layer)
  • Detect the progressive damage to the refractory lining with time 
  • Assess the quality of installed refractory.
